Some hints would be, first to draw a circle before actually drawing the head. This makes the shape better. This will also help you improve the eyes because you can set them at the center easier.
The hair looks nice, though keep shading in mind. Using ink pens over your pencil lines would be good for this. Where does the light come from? This is the lighter part. Easy ne?
